MARCO VIZCARRA

Marco Vizcarra was born in Arequipa Peru. He studied architecture, and during this stage, he learned how to use watercolor as a medium to include color in his architectural drawings and sketches. After graduating as an architect, he worked as a professor at two universities, teaching Architectural Design and Architectural Drawing. In February 2009 Marco and his family arrived in Massachusetts, where they still reside.
Marco had several exhibitions in Peru and Massachusetts and is a member of the New England Watercolor Society; a member of the Quincy Art Association where he conducts classes on watercolor, sketches and perspective. Marco has participated in several art contests receiving various awards, ranging from Best of the Show, first place, second and honorable mentions. |
Marco has a painting studio at home, using techniques ranging from pencil drawing, acrylic, mixed media, and of course watercolor, his favorite technique.

About the Gallery
The Marilyn Rodman Performing Arts Gallery calls for local visual artists to submit samples of their work to be showcased in a gallery setting inside the theater on a bi-monthly basis. Our gallery is located at: 1 School Street, Foxborough, MA. We will continue to present local artists working in a variety of mediums with curated themes and companion events featuring local performers, speakers and businesses. Members of the public are invited to visit the gallery during upcoming ticketed events and on specific event nights designed to foster an inspirational experience while enjoying beverages from our concession area and mingling with other local creatives. Upcoming dates will be announced as they are finalized. All are welcome! |
