Paul Percival
November/December 2022
Paul began his career working in department stores and specialty retail. Retail visual merchandising has given him a strong sense of color, texture, balance and proportion which he has taken into the world of interiors, starting his own business PercivalDesign.
Having always painted as a creative outlet, creating one-of-a-kind artwork for clients started with a request from a homeowner who was looking for something specific to finish off a Percival Design project. Since that time, Paul regularly creates paintings for specific rooms and spaces, both residential and commercial.
His career has evolved into creating paintings used as mood boards, as well as presenting them to clients for their consideration upon the completion of his interior design projects. Paul loves using texture and color in rooms that he designs for clients and his room design practice has spilled over into the way he uses texture in paintings to evoke a feeling or reaction.

“The collection of paintings I have put together for this exhibit is an exploration into my design process. |
